Visa Information
If you are traveling from abroad to attend the Humpback Whale World Congress in Tadoussac (Québec), we strongly encourage you to check the entry requirements for Canada as soon as possible, based on your country of residence. We highly recommend visiting the official Government of Canada website to determine the appropriate procedure and avoid any travel issues. Depending on your situation, you may need a Visitor Visa, or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).
For those transiting through the United States
If you have a layover in the United States on your way to Canada—even if you do not leave the airport—you are required to obtain a U.S. Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). The ESTA is mandatory for entering or transiting through the U.S., even for short stopovers.
You can apply through the official website
⚠️ Please make sure to apply for your visa or eTA well in advance, as processing times can vary depending on the country and time of year. If you require an official invitation letter, feel free to contact us — we’ll be happy to provide one.
